pisco is portuguese for ‘blink of an eye’. it immediately describes the appearance of this sculptural wall decoration. blinking eyes that make you blush ;-) in 3 different sizes they are combined in groups to form a subtle decoration or take a place as a large sculpture. the natural ceramic pieces are handmade by local brazilian craftsmen: gardeco imports their ceramics from cores da terra, selma calheira’s studio in brazil. she strongly engages in social commitment and offers the local population a chance to follow training with her and become a ceramist. gardeco couldn’t agree more with this vision and takes pride in their long-term relationship
